St Stephen's Church, Skipton

Strawberry Fayre 2004

The Strawberry Fayre and BBQ Were a joined parish and Friends of St Stephen’s (FOSS) social event.

The activities began at 11, am with special prepared burgers and hot dogs.  Many families supported the day and joined in with many of the activities and attractions.

We were joined by Skipton Fire Brigade, who gave time to the children and families.  Face painting, fancy good stalls, and activities for the children, were very popular.  The day was a success socially and financially, helping to raise money for the Parish and F.O.S.S.

Behind the scenes the catering team were busy preparing cream teas and Strawberries and cream for all.

  There was a rush of children to the face painting stall, and all were excellent works of art.

The cake stall as always was a huge success.

The activity area was very busy and competition was tight

The day was splendid and well attended.  The weather was good except for short deluges.
