Christmas Fayre December 2004

Many people got together for several months of hard preparation to make sure that this event was the best yet.

Crafters crafted until their hearts were content and vouchers were printed and sold ahead of the day, and could be redeemed for goods at the Fayre.  There was a host of festive stalls including a sweetie shop, craft goods and flower arrangements.  A raffle was well supported and there were many lucky winners. Teas, coffee and mulled wine flowed with the festive spirit.  Children queued to see Santa Clause and gave him quite a few ideas about who wanted what!

Several were crushed at the bottle stall but were soon revived when the fancy goods stall had a sale. It was a great afternoon and well worth all the hard work and effort put in by so many willing helpers.  We thank them all for their hard work and look forward to another exciting event next year.

Money was spent and everyone had a great time and a good amount of money was raised for the parish.
