Annual Garden Party June 2004

It was that special time of year again when parishioners joined together to raise funds for the parish under the pretence of having an excellent time!

The Marques were raised, the stalls were out and queues began to form very early indeed to participate in the bottle stall and raffle.  Some lost hats, (but no limbs luckily, not this year!) in the rush for the opening of the cake stall and cream teas and sandwiches were served like running water until the kitchen had to close due to exhaustion!

Mr P was delighted with the takings from the gate and sale of programmes.

  Now that’s a good cup of tea!

There were lots of things to keep the children amused including swing boats, sports, bouncy castle and goods stalls.
